I can not wait for spring! With the move and all last summer, as much as I would have liked to get out in the yard and start giving this property all the attention it deserves, there just wasn’t enough time…and I hardly doubt that I could turn this overgrown 5 acre mess into a lovely space in just one summer. Although I did certainly try. That’s just not realistic. So with little gardening done I am just dying to get out there.

For the time being, I am very thankful for house plants…which I have a jungles worth as well. Over that past year I have really taken an interest in succulents and cacti. Needless to say I was very interested in this how-to for terrariums I came across on-line:

And coincidentally, I have the very same container they used in the demo! At the end of the day, it isn’t the same as good ole sun-shining, birds singing outdoor gardening…but, then again, dirt is dirt and it will just have to do.
