Sidetracked

This morning I sat down to do a little blogging and turned on Netflix for a little background noise…and I was totally sidetracked! In the ‘recommend for us’ portion was a short film called Moving Art: Flowers (by Louie Schwartzberg). If you haven’t seen it you really should check it out! I was mesmerized. Any description I could ever come up with would never do the film justice so in short: he has captured the growth/blooming of flowers in a way I’ve never seen!

Such a great film. Especially for a dull and rather gloomy day like today…another nice reminder that spring is just around the corner.

From movingart.com: Using time-lapse, high-speed and macro cinematography, Schwartzberg offers audiences an intimate and unprecedented high-definition glimpse into a hidden world.

After doing a little research, I’ve found he has several films of this nature…I know how I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday! How about you?
