Yep… that right there is one dead fern. Actually, sigh, 5 dead ferns in total. What the heck?! If my life depended on growing ferns I wouldn’t last long.
I really don’t understand. I did research! A LOT of research haha. I watered them and mist them…”and loved them, and hugged them and called them George”.
Oh! Oh! I’ve lost my staghorn fern too! That makes 6! Now that is heartbreaking!
Honestly, I think it boils down to the temperature in our home. Being an old brick farm house…it gets pretty drafty in here. Hard to keep the temperature consistent. And I have learned ferns are very temperamental!
With all that said, fingers crossed that my bird’s nest fern, my last fern, doesn’t bite the bullet. That would really push me over the edge haha.

sometimes I just start over + try again-don’t get discouraged! I have researched and done everything for a plant and then it bites the dust, then I just start over again + sometimes the number 3/4/5 works!

but….I have to add, I am no good with house plants:-( I am so much better with my garden outside. I don’t know what I do wrong but house plant were never my thing. I do okay if I take plants inside or grow vegetables or starts that go outside everntually!

That’s what I don’t understand – our house is a jungle! I have so many house plants. Just ferns and orchids don’t like it here?!
