Don’t Touch – Part 2

Oh, the poor old gal she ain’t what she used to be! She’s not dead…but, she’s not exactly alive either. At this point she might just be humoring me.

We had an okay winter. She lived in our dinning room, which is full of natural light and pretty cozy, so she seemed to be doing rather well. She was still pretty cranky though, dropping leaves on a regular basis, but she was clearly alive.

For some strange reason I thought it’d be a good idea to give her a trim. You know, just to cut out the dead stuff…

CUSS! Why can’t I just leave well enough alone?!

She’s just down right depressed now and has been all summer! When the weather warmed up, she made the move back to the sun room where she originally lived – no amount of water or natural light seems to cheer her up. She’s now is like 10% alive with just 3 little green sprigs.

I think I can officially add ferns to the list of plants I can’t keep alive along with orchids, hibiscus, and spider plants.
