Currently, I have one flower in bloom and it’s an Iris. I despise it, loathe entirely! And the same one pops up every year beside the garage; it’s the bane of my gardening existence. It grows right from the gravel, not even in a garden.

I can’t even explain why I detest Iris’ so (perhaps I don’t hate them all, it may be just this one in particular). I feel like the leaves could be the culprit, they’re a bit weird and pointy like (welcome to the wonderful way my brain works, haha).
I’ve dug up and pulled out this plant every year for 7 years and each spring it returns with its annoying little head held high. Shining bright like a diamond every time I see it in the driveway.
Anyone out there with me on this? Anti-Iris? Or is there another plant that you despise as much as I do this Iris?
After thought…
Ugh, I suppose I should dig the damn thing up and give it a proper home. The flower isn’t terrible to look at. And after all, it has survived 7 years of torture.
What would you do? Pitch or plant?
